Ice Cream How-To
Hi everybody and welcome to my art blog. Summer is officially here, and to celebrate that I am drawing a little ice cream. I believe that ice cream is something we all associate with summer.
In the terms of colors Ive used about three tones for each scoup of ice cream. For the vanilla, I used warm grey 1, and 3. And on top of that, Ive used a pale fruit pink (E000)
To give it a hint of color.
For the Chocolate I used sand, (E33) Chamois (E35) and burnt umber. (E29) I also used a black pencil for extra shading, and the coloursless blender for some of the highlights, combined with a white gelly roll pen.
And for the strawberry scoop, Ive used pinkish white, (R00) blush, (R20) and light pink (RV21) for the most vibrant colors.
And finally for the ice cream cone, i used light reddish yellow, (YR31) buttercup yellow (Y21) and dull ivory. (E43) I made sure to erase my pencil sketch a bit before coloring, so it would'nt be so prominent. And that was pretty much it, for this weeks blog. I really got me in the summer mood, even though it has been raining nonstop since i started on the drawing hope you guys enjoyed it, and i'll see you all in the next blog.
For the pink I used Sugares Almond Pink, (RV02) Tender Pink, (RV13) and Shock Pink. (RV04)
For the greens I used Yellowish Green,(YG06) Pea Green, (YG63) and Moss.(YG67)
For some areas I also used a yellow pencil, for some highlights and color variation.
For the water, I used Warm Greys 5, and 7, and a black marker. I also used both a white pencil and a white gelly roll pen. And even a black pencil, for smaller details.
