RV000- Pale Purple is an extremely light pink-violet that works beautifully for highlights and the palest areas of the petals.
RV10- Pale Pink adds a soft blush tone and helps build gentle dimension.
RV21- Light Pink brings in a slightly stronger rosy pink for folds, overlaps, and deeper areas of the flower.

Rich Purple
Pale Lilac acts as the lightest lavender tone.
V15 Mallow adds a richer violet through the middle of the petal.
V17 Amethyst creates the deepest purple shadows and gives the flower stronger contrast.

This combination creates a stronger, more saturated purple flower.

Rosy Pink

Shadows do not always need to be a darker version of the same color. Cool tones can create depth while helping petals stay bright and dimensional.

BV20 is a best seller here at Violeta Ink. This is a very gray light violet, perfect for soft neutral backgrounds but also great for cast shadows and shading. We rate BV20 a moderately easy blending color and recommend it for intermediates. BV20 works well in combination with BV23 and BV25.
BV20 and the entire B-Twenty group is highly recommended by Amy at VanillaArts.com for her intermediate level underpainting methods.
